New Epstein Files Show Sarah Ferguson Sought to Introduce Socialite to FBI Director
Sarah Ferguson is a famous British royal, sometimes called the Duchess of York.
She used to know a man named Jeffrey Epstein who did very bad things to children and went to prison.
New private emails and papers, called the Epstein Files, show that she stayed friends with him even after he was in trouble.
The papers show she wrote him loving messages and even visited him with her daughters soon after he got out of prison.
They also show she tried to introduce another famous person to a very important FBI leader.
There are still about two and a half million pages of these papers that people have not seen yet.
Ferguson says taking help from Epstein was a big mistake, but she is not accused of a crime.
Because of all this trouble and bad attention, her charity group has decided to close down.
