Manav Suthar Credits Early Preparation for India’s Galle Victory

India won the first Test against Sri Lanka by 165 runs.

Manav Suthar was the best bowler in the match.

He took 10 wickets, including six in the second innings.

Suthar said arriving 10 days early helped India get used to Sri Lanka’s conditions.

The team also played a three-day practice match before the Test.

He practiced with the Kookaburra ball because it was different from the ball he usually uses in India.

Suthar also played two matches for Warwickshire before joining India.

India’s spinners bowled patiently and waited for mistakes from Sri Lanka’s batters.

India now lead the series 1-0 and will play the second Test in Colombo.
