Right-wing activists disrupt religious meet in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar

A group of people from different states in India went to a school in a town called Khurai for a special meeting because they follow the Christian religion.

Late at night, some other people came to the school and said the meeting was a trick to secretly change people's religion.

They were upset and started protesting loudly.

The police came to the school to keep everyone safe and calm things down.

The people at the meeting told the police they were Christians and were just having a religious programme.

The protesters said about 120 beds had been set up and that people had come from faraway states like Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand.

The police said they do not know yet who is right and will keep checking.

They plan to ask questions, look at what happened, and find out if any rules were broken.

Everyone is waiting to see what the police find out.
