Bedbugs Force Closure of Paris Cinema
A famous movie place in Paris called Cinematheque Francaise had to close for a month because of bedbugs.
Bedbugs are tiny bugs that bite people and can make them itchy and sick.
The bedbugs were found in the seats and clothes during a class with a famous actress named Sigourney Weaver.
The movie place will clean all the seats with very hot steam and check them with dogs.
Other parts of the building, like an exhibition about a famous actor, will stay open.
The French government is also trying to get rid of bedbugs in many places because they have been a problem.
Cinematheque Francaise temporarily closed for a month due to bedbug infestation.
Bedbugs were reported during a master class with Sigourney Weaver, causing audience complaints.
All seats will be dismantled, treated with dry steam at 180C, and checked by dogs.
Other areas of the building, including an exhibition about Orson Welles, will remain open.
The French government has launched a concerted effort to fight bedbugs since 2023.
