Regan Hutsell Wins Miss America 2027 in Historic Victory

Regan Hutsell from Texas won the Miss America 2027 title.

She is 25 years old and comes from Houston.

She became the 99th person to win the title.

She is also the first mixed-race woman with African-American heritage to win Miss America.

Regan used to dance with the Birmingham Royal Ballet and as a Radio City Rockette.

Her dancing helped her win a talent award during the competition.

She also received awards for health and fitness.

As Miss America, she will receive $50,000 in scholarship money and serve for a year.

Her main message is that people should care for their bodies and minds through her initiative, “Your Body Is Your Home.”
