Mumbai's Ward Boundaries Unchanged for 2025 BMC Elections
Imagine the city of Mumbai is like a giant puzzle, divided into pieces called wards.
Before elections, they sometimes redraw the puzzle pieces, but this time, they're not changing them.
The people in charge looked at new roads and bridges but decided the pieces should stay the same for the upcoming election.
They will submit the maps with ward details soon, and this means voting will be easier because people will go to the same place as before.
However, other cities nearby will have changes.
BMC will submit its draft on ward demarcation to the state on August 5.
Ward boundaries in Mumbai will remain unchanged for the 2025 elections.
This decision was made as new infrastructure projects did not affect ward limits.
Coastal Road falls into D and G-South wards; Atal Setu is in E ward.
Changes are expected in Pune, Thane, and Mira Bhayandar.
