Charnock and Philips Partner to Bring Advanced Scanning Technology
Charnock Hospital and Philips have agreed to work together.
They plan to bring new medical equipment to the hospital.
The equipment will be used for scans and heart care.
One MRI machine is expected to make some spine scans much faster.
This could make scans less uncomfortable for people who find MRI machines difficult.
The partners also plan to train doctors, nurses and other health workers across Bengal.
Charnock says it will not raise treatment costs because of the new equipment.

Charnock Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding with Philips to introduce critical-care technologies and integrated healthcare solutions.
Charnock plans to invest around ₹100 crore with Philips over one year, through equipment purchases and leasing.
The technology will cover radiology, MRI, CT, sonology, PET-CT and cardiology.
A new MRI system is intended to shorten some spine scans from about 40 minutes to less than eight minutes.
The partnership includes training and certification for healthcare workers across Bengal, and Charnock says the upgrades will not increase treatment costs.
