TCS Opens Second Blind Bake Café in Chennai
TCS, a big IT company, has opened a special café in Chennai called the Blind Bake Café.
This is their second one, and it's run by people who can't see very well.
They were trained by a group called the National Association for the Blind.
The café has special things like Braille marks on the equipment and floors that help people move around easily.
The first café opened in Mumbai a few months ago.
The idea is to make sure everyone feels included and can use the café without any problems.
TCS opened its second Blind Bake Café at the Siruseri Campus in Chennai.
The café is a collaborative initiative with the National Association for the Blind (NAB) India Centre for Blind Women & Disability Studies.
It is staffed entirely by visually impaired personnel trained in bakery and café management.
The café features Braille-marked equipment, tactile flooring, and specialized training in alternate cooking methods.
The first Blind Bake Café was launched at the Olympus campus in Mumbai in September 2025.
