EC Clarifies Notice to Ex-Navy Chief
Admiral Arun Prakash, a former Indian Navy chief, and his wife, both in their 80s, were asked to prove their identity as part of a voter roll clean-up exercise.
The Election Commission said their form was missing important details like previous SIR information and EPIC number.

He also pointed out that the Booth Level Officer (BLO) visited them three times and could have asked for additional information during those visits.

Despite finding the process inconvenient, Admiral Prakash and his wife will comply with the Election Commission's notices.
