Government Announces Officer Transfers in Goa and Kerala
In Goa, several top government officials are being moved to new jobs, including the North Goa collector, following an investigation into a recent stampede.
Also, the government in Kerala has reversed its decision to reassign several top police officers after some of them protested.
This means some officers will keep their old jobs, instead of the new assignments they were given.
Several IAS officers, including the North Goa Collector, have been transferred out of Goa.
The transfers follow a fact-finding committee investigation into a stampede.
The MHA transferred Asvin Chandru, CM’s secretary, and his wife, Sneha Gitte.
