Madhya Pradesh Doctors to Get DACP Scheme Benefits
Doctors in Madhya Pradesh will now receive benefits from the DACP scheme.
This is because the health department has issued an order.
The order will start from October 5, 2023, and it is for all government doctors.
This happened after about 15,000 doctors asked for DACP in October 2023.
The new order will impact how much doctors get paid, counting from when they started or were promoted in their jobs.
This also means an old rule from 1986 will no longer be used.
Madhya Pradesh health department issued an order to implement the DACP scheme for government doctors.
The order, effective from October 5, 2023, was addressed to the deans of all government medical colleges.
Around 15,000 doctors across the state protested in October 2023, demanding the DACP scheme.
Salaries will be calculated from the date of appointment and promotion within the same cadre.
The 1986 promotion order will be suspended with the implementation of this order.
