Mumbai One App Sees Strong Initial Adoption With 3 Lakh Registrations
A new app called Mumbai One is making it easier for people to travel around Mumbai using public transport.
In just over a month, 300,000 people have signed up for it.
The app lets you buy tickets and plan your trips using many different ways to travel, like buses, trains, and the metro, all in one place.
You can even use a single QR code to travel on different systems.
It also offers real-time travel planning to help you pick the best way to get somewhere.
If you pay using the BHIM App, you can get a special discount until the end of 2025.
The Mumbai One App has achieved over 3 lakh registrations and facilitated more than 7.15 lakh journeys in its first month.
It integrates ticketing and route planning for 11 major transport agencies, including BEST, Mumbai Suburban Railways, and various Metro lines.
The app allows commuters to use a single QR code for seamless multi-modal travel.
