Tension in Podili After Stone Pelting Incident
A politician named Chevireddy went to the police station to help some people from his party who were arrested.
These people were accused of throwing stones at a protest by women.
The women were demonstrating against another politician, Jagan, when they were attacked.
Chevireddy and a police officer argued because the officer didn't want Chevireddy to meet the arrested people.
The argument got heated, and Chevireddy said he would protest before leaving the police station.
Former MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy arrived at the Podili Police Station to support YSRC cadres.
Nine YSRC workers were detained for allegedly pelting stones at a women's protest.
The protest involved women demonstrators who opposed former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
A heated exchange occurred between Chevireddy and the Circle Inspector, T. Venkateswarlu.
