Labuschagne optimistic on ending Test century drought against Bangladesh

Labuschagne optimistic on ending Test century drought against Bangladesh

Marnus Labuschagne is a cricketer who plays for Australia.

His job is to score runs by batting.

For a while now, he has not made a really big score of 100 runs, which is called a century.

The last time he did it was in July 2023, when he played against England.

Now he is getting ready to play two Test matches against Bangladesh.

The first match will start on August 13, and the games will be in two Australian cities called Darwin and Mackay.

Marnus says this is the longest break he has had from cricket in many years.

He used the break to practice and find his best form again.

He believes the runs will come if he keeps trusting his game and his preparation.

Australia is currently the number one team in the World Test Championship, while Bangladesh is number four.
