Security Forces Kill Two Maoists in Bijapur

In a forested area of Bijapur, India, security forces had a big fight with a group of Maoists.

The fight started around 7 am when the security team was looking for a small group of armed Maoists.

After the fight, the security forces found the bodies of two Maoists.

This is part of their ongoing efforts to keep the area safe from Maoist threats.

So far this year, 22 suspected Maoists have been killed in different fights with security forces in Chhattisgarh.

The Indian government is working hard to end Maoism and has seen some success in reducing the number of affected areas.

They plan to completely end Maoism by March 31, 2026.
