Food Safety Officials Inspect Bengaluru Club, Mangaluru Blinkit Facility
Food safety officials checked two places after people complained about food problems.
One place was Chairman’s Club in Bengaluru.
They found expired chilli, unapproved colours, and an unclean kitchen there.
They also found vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods stored together.
The expired food was taken away, and the kitchen was sealed.
The other place was a Blinkit facility in Mangaluru.
Inspectors found broken egg packets and ordered them to be thrown away.
The storage room was sealed temporarily while it was cleaned, and Blinkit will be asked to explain what happened.

The club had unauthorised artificial colours, an unhygienic kitchen, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods stored together.
Expired products were seized, and the club’s kitchen was closed and sealed under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
