Mumbai Police Books Shivaji Park Protest Organisers
The Mumbai Police have filed a complaint against the people who organized a protest at Shivaji Park.
The police say the protest was not allowed because they did not get permission.
The protest happened on a Sunday and included Uddhav Thackeray, a leader from the Shiv Sena party.
Another protest planned for Chaityabhoomi in Dadar was also not given permission.
The police are taking action because the protest went ahead without the required approval.
Mumbai Police filed an FIR against Shivaji Park protest organisers for unlawful assembly.
No permission was granted for the protest, which included Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray.
A similar protest planned at Chaityabhoomi in Dadar on July 20 was also denied permission.
