DoorDash is a company that helps people order from local businesses and receive deliveries.
It operates in more than 40 countries and works somewhat like Swiggy and Zomato.
On 30 September, DoorDash opened its first office in India in Hyderabad.
The office will start with 500 workers.
DoorDash plans to increase that number to more than 3,000 within two years.
The workers will help customers, merchants, and delivery workers around the world.
The first teams will focus on customer experience, integrity, and administration.
DoorDash may later add fraud-review, integrity, and technical-support work as the office grows.
