BL Block Youth Wing Hosts Spectrum Cultural Fiesta
The youth wing of BL Block held a big fun event called Spectrum over the Kali puja weekend.
It lasted for three days and had lots of different things to do.
There were contests for singing and drawing, games like carrom, chess, and even video games like Need for Speed and FIFA.
They also had exciting events like arm wrestling and a treasure hunt.
Some people even showed off their talents!
Even though there were fewer players in some games this year, they are already planning an even bigger celebration for next year.
Spectrum, a cultural fiesta, was organized by the BL Block committee youth wing over the Kali puja weekend.
The event featured a range of cultural and sporting activities including a talent hunt, sit-and-draw, carrom, chess, rifle shooting, gaming, and arm wrestling.
A musical evening with guest singers Sriparna Chandra and Rishi Panda was a highlight of the second day.
Organizers noted fewer participants in gaming and chess this year due to an introduced entry fee and less promotion for these games.
Plans are underway for a grander celebration of Spectrum's 35th year in 2026, including a 35-foot idol.
