Gold and Silver Prices Drop Sharply
Gold and silver prices dropped a lot on January 30, 2026.
In Mumbai, 24-carat gold cost Rs 1,78,860 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold was Rs 1,63,960 per 10 grams.
Silver was around Rs 3,80,000 per kg.
This happened because the dollar got stronger, and there was a lot of ups and downs in the market.
Even though prices fell, they had been going up a lot before this.
Experts think the prices will keep changing because of things like the Indian Union Budget and geopolitical tensions.
It's a good time for people who want to buy gold and silver.
Gold prices in India fell by nearly 3.5% and silver by about 5% from record levels due to a firmer dollar.
