Odisha Commission Advances Police Recruitment After Paper Leak Delay

Odisha planned to hold a police recruitment exam, but the exam was cancelled after a question paper leaked.

Many people who wanted police jobs are still waiting for a new exam date.

Naveen Patnaik asked the state government to quickly announce fresh dates.

The government’s recruitment commission said it has already started hiring constables.

It also said it is working quickly to hold the Combined Police Services Examination.

The commission plans to publish more details through official channels and its website.

A separate group, the Central Bureau of Investigation, is investigating the paper leak.

Meanwhile, 336 police sub-inspectors have completed training and received appointments.
