Karnataka Congress MLA Alleges Threat During Assembly Session

A disagreement happened between two Congress lawmakers in Karnataka’s Assembly.

S.N. Narayanaswamy said Roopakala Shashidhar came over while he was talking with another MLA.

He alleged that she banged the table and warned that she would “deal with” him.

Narayanaswamy said the words made him feel scared.

The incident happened while lawmakers were discussing another MLA’s resignation.

That resignation was linked to two taluks being left off a drought-affected list.

The two lawmakers represent constituencies in Kolar district.

Congress has not officially commented on the incident.
