Mumbai Dry Spell May Continue as Reservoirs Stay Above 95%

Mumbai may continue to have mostly dry weather this month.

The weather department has not warned of heavy rain this week.

People could still see some light rain from time to time.

The next two days are expected to be partly cloudy.

Temperatures may reach about 32°C during the day and fall to around 25°C at night.

Mumbai had much less rain than usual in August.

However, heavy rain earlier in the monsoon season helped the city receive 96% of its average annual rainfall.

The seven reservoirs that provide Mumbai’s water are nearly full at 95.97%.
