Minister Lokesh Aids Differently-Abled NEET Ranker
A student named Harihara, who is differently-abled, did well on a big test called NEET.
But, there was a problem: he needed to have English as one of his subjects, according to the rules, but there were some exceptions to the rules made for students like him.
Because of this, he was worried he wouldn't get into medical school.
A government leader, Nara Lokesh, helped by making a special rule so Harihara could still go to medical school.
Now, he can pursue his dream of becoming a doctor!
Education Minister Nara Lokesh intervened to assist a differently-abled NEET ranker.
The student, Dasareddy Harihara Brahma Reddy, faced eligibility issues due to language requirements.
NEET guidelines required English as a language, while differently-abled students were exempt in intermediate.
Harihara secured a rank of 1174 in the NEET examination among the differently-abled category.
Minister Lokesh issued a special GO to ensure the student's eligibility for medical college.
