Haryana ACB Bars Reposting Bribe-Taking Officials Within Same District
Haryana’s anti-corruption agency wants government workers caught taking bribes to be moved away from the same district.
Officials said returning them to the same area could weaken action against corruption and reduce public trust.
The agency said it has caught 138 government employees accepting bribes this year.
Courts have punished 23 employees in 21 cases since January 1.
The agency has also identified 190 officials linked to repeated complaints or corruption-related information.
It is studying complaints to find offices where corruption may be a bigger problem.
A new mobile app is being tested so people can report corruption more easily.
