Tata Motors is planning to launch five new electric car models by the year 2030.

They are going to spend a lot of money, between 16,000 and 18,000 crore rupees, to make these new cars and also to build more places where people can charge their electric cars.

Right now, Tata Motors sells more than half of all electric cars in India.

They want to keep being the biggest seller of electric cars in the country and plan to have 45-50% of the market by 2030.

Some of the new cars they will make are called Sierra.ev and Avinya.

They have already sold more than 2.5 lakh electric cars.

Tata Motors also has over 2 lakh charging points across the country, making it easier for people to use electric cars.

The Avinya EV is expected to be a premium offering with a separate brand and a minimalist, lounge-like cabin styling.
