WOTR Launches Consulting Arm for CSR and Sustainable Development
A group called WOTR has started a new business to help other companies do good things for the environment and people.
This new business, called WCF, will use WOTR's experience to help companies plan projects that really make a difference.
They want to make sure that money spent on helping others creates lasting and good results for communities.
Any money the WCF makes will go back into helping people, so making money and doing good go hand-in-hand.
WCF has already helped companies with training and planning for things like farming and making sure products get good prices.
They believe that using smart business ideas can actually help more people and the planet.
Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) has launched WOTR Consulting Forum (WCF) to assist organizations with CSR and sustainable development.
WCF aims to create measurable, impactful, and sustainable development programs by leveraging WOTR's experience and strategic consulting.
All profits generated by WCF will be reinvested into community programs.
Recent projects include GIS and ESG training, developing a monitoring and evaluation framework for organic farming, and designing certification systems.
WCF seeks to demonstrate how business principles can enhance social impact.
