UK Says Iran Played Part in RAF Fairford Incident

Police are investigating a serious incident near RAF Fairford in England.

Five British men in their 20s were arrested after police received a call in Whelford village.

The men were later released, but they must follow very strict bail rules.

Prime Minister Andy Burnham said there are strong indications that Iran played a part.

Iran denied being involved and called the accusation “Iranophobia.”

Police searched three vehicles and found petrol but no explosives.

The investigation is complex and is being led by counter-terrorism police.

British officials are working closely with the United States.

Authorities have not released all the details yet.
