Navi Mumbai Offers Taxpayers Discount for Early Payment
Hey, Navi Mumbai residents!
The city is giving you a deal on your property taxes.
If you pay by June 30th, you get a 10% discount.
The city wants to collect a lot of tax money next year, to help with that they've made it easier to pay online and via app, also the property tax bills will only be issued once a year instead of twice.
Women from local groups are helping to get the bills out and tell everyone about the discount.
You can find your bill online or through the app, and you can pay using many different methods.
NMMC is offering a 10% discount on general property tax for those paying by June 30, 2025.
The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) aims to collect Rs 1,200 crore in property tax in 2025-26.
The 2025-26 property tax bills are now available online.
A single annual bill distribution system will be implemented from 2025-26.
Women from self-help groups are helping with bill distribution and informing residents about schemes.
