BTC Election 2025: Second Phase of Officer Training Begins
Imagine the upcoming BTC Election as a big school project.
To make sure everything runs smoothly, the people in charge, like the teachers (Presiding and Polling Officers) and the helpers (Micro Observers), need training.
This training is happening in Kokrajhar.
They're learning how to do their jobs properly.
The training is happening in phases, like different class sessions.
The second phase of training has started on Saturday.
The first phase happened last week.
District officials are making sure everything goes as planned, from selecting the venues to making sure there's enough space.
It's all to make sure the election happens fairly and efficiently.
Second phase of training for election officers commenced in Kokrajhar on September 13.
Training sessions were held at Kokrajhar University, Gossaigaon College, and two schools.
The training is for Presiding and Polling Officers for the 2025 BTC Election.
The Kokrajhar District Commissioner & Returning Officer oversees the training.
The first round of Micro Observer training also took place on Saturday, with a second scheduled for September 15.
