Miss Universe Thailand Contestants Celebrate Food In Costume Round
Miss Universe Thailand contestants had a special costume contest about food and fruit.
All 77 Thai provinces were represented.
Instead of wearing ordinary pageant outfits, contestants dressed like famous foods or showed food traditions.
One contestant dressed as a giant shrimp.
Another wore a costume inspired by Pad Thai noodles.
Other costumes showed grilled chicken and traditional fruit sellers.
The event celebrated the different foods and cultures found across Thailand.
The winner may get the chance to represent Thailand at the Miss Universe pageant.
Contestants representing all 77 Thai provinces took part in a “Fruits & Food” national costume competition.
The costumes highlighted Thailand’s regional dishes, produce, food traditions and culinary identity.
Contestants appeared as giant prawns, Pad Thai noodles, grilled chicken, coconuts and fruit vendors.
Sunisa Pinklab of Trat dressed as a giant shrimp, while Phairin Srekaew of Uthai Thani portrayed Pad Thai.
The competition is part of the journey toward the “Celestial Ascent” crown and a chance to represent Thailand at the 75th Miss Universe pageant.
