Sadhu Vaswani's Independence Day Message: 'Future Is in Your Hands'
Many years ago, a little girl asked a wise man named Sadhu Vaswani for a message before he left.
He told her that the future belongs to children like her.
Children, he said, can become the builders of a new India.
He remembered that India was once a strong leader in the world.
But India has suffered a lot over many centuries.
He said India is not defeated and will never be defeated.
He asked people to remember the vision of the sages and turn back to God.
He said people should love God and love each other.
He believed love can solve many problems and bring peace.
His hopeful message is shared as India marks its 80th Independence Day on August 15.
Sadhu Vaswani told a young girl that children are 'the builders of tomorrow' and that 'the future is in your hands.'
He said children can become builders of a new India and architects of a new humanity.
He recalled that India was once a leader of nations and a builder of civilisation when darkness brooded over Western civilisation.
He urged people to turn back to God, love God and fellow humans, calling love the solution to problems afflicting modern civilisation.
