Three Die of Suffocation in Bihar
In a sad accident in Bihar, India, three family members—a grandmother and two young children—died because they couldn't breathe.
They had lit a small charcoal heater to keep warm in their room.
But the room had no fresh air because the door and windows were closed.
The smoke from the heater filled the room, and the family couldn't breathe.
When others found them, they were already unconscious and couldn't be saved.
The police are investigating to understand exactly what happened.
They are warning people not to use heaters like this in closed rooms and to always keep windows open for fresh air.
A similar accident happened recently in another part of Bihar, where four people also died from smoke in their room.
Three family members died of suffocation from a charcoal brazier in Bihar's Gaya district.
The victims were Meena Devi (60), her grandson Sujit Kumar (3), and granddaughter Anshu Kumari (5).
The family lit the brazier to stay warm, but the room filled with smoke due to closed doors and windows.
The bodies were taken to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating and have advised against using charcoal braziers in closed rooms.
