BFI Announces Prize Money for Boxing Cup Medalists
The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) is giving out money to the Indian boxers who won medals in the World Boxing Cup.
Gold medal winners will get the most money, while silver and bronze winners will receive less.
This is happening because the BFI wants to reward the boxers for their success.
India is doing well in boxing, and the BFI hopes this will encourage more people to participate and win more medals.
They are also working with China to help grow boxing in India.
BFI announced Rs 17.5 lakh prize money for medallists.
Gold medallists get Rs 2 lakh, silver Rs 1 lakh, and bronze Rs 50,000.
The announcement precedes the World Boxing Cup Finals in New Delhi.
China is exploring a strategic partnership with the BFI.
