Indian Railways Updates Cancellation Rules
Indian Railways has made new rules for canceling tickets on special trains like Vande Bharat Sleeper and Amrit Bharat II.
If you cancel more than 72 hours before your trip, you lose 25% of your fare.
If you cancel between 72 hours and 8 hours before, you lose 50%.
If you cancel less than 8 hours before, you get no money back.
This is different from other trains, where you can cancel up to 4 hours before and still get some money back.
The railways say this is to make sure everyone who books a seat gets a confirmed spot.
Some passengers might find these rules strict, but the railways think it helps them plan better.
