Two Paragliders Collide Mid-Air, Fall Into Lake During Tehri Festival
Two paragliders were flying over a lake in Uttarakhand, India, during a big festival.
Suddenly, their parachutes got tangled, and they crashed into the lake.
Luckily, a rescue team was nearby and quickly saved both pilots.
They were checked by doctors and are safe now.
This is similar to another incident that happened last year with naval officers in a different place, where they also fell into the water but were rescued safely.
Two paragliders collided mid-air and fell into Tehri Lake during the Acro Festival & SIV Championship Tehri 2026.
The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team rescued both pilots immediately.
Both pilots underwent a preliminary medical examination and were reported to be safe.
The incident was captured on camera and the video went viral.
A similar incident occurred last year in Visakhapatnam, where two naval officers' parachutes entangled mid-air, and they fell into the sea but were rescued safely.
