Bharat Forge Partners with French Firm for AAROK UAV in India
Bharat Forge, an Indian company, is teaming up with French firm Turgis Gaillard to bring the AAROK drone to India for the defense.
They made a deal at the Paris Air Show.
The AAROK is designed to fly for a long time, watch over areas, and even carry weapons.
It can help spot threats and strike targets far away.
Bharat Forge plans to build these drones in India, which means India will have more control over the maintenance and boost India’s defense capabilities.
Bharat Forge and Turgis Gaillard signed an MoU for the AAROK UAV.
The announcement was made at the Paris Air Show.
AAROK is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle.
The UAV is designed for long-range surveillance and can carry weapons.
