Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approves Three-Month Interest Waiver Scheme
The Uttar Pradesh government approved a plan to help people and businesses who still owe certain old taxes.
For three months, eligible taxpayers can ask to have interest and penalties on those dues waived.
The plan applies to dues from several tax laws.
Only dues that arose by December 31, 2025, are covered.
