Dipke’s US Education Funding Sparks Party Finance Probe
Abhijeet Dipke is the leader of a political group called the Cockroach Janta Party.
He says he went to study in the United States and paid for it with a scholarship from Boston University and a loan.
Some people think his family had a lot of money and used it instead.
A man named Amit Tiwari asked the government and other agencies to look into this.
The government is also checking if the party is registered as a political group and if a big money fund for protests is being handled properly.
Dipke claims his Boston University studies were paid for by a $12,500 per semester scholarship and an education loan.
RTI activist Amit Tiwari filed complaints with the Maharashtra government, Election Commission of India, and CBIC questioning Dipke’s father’s finances, the party’s registration status, and a ₹1 crore legal aid fund.
Dipke denied allegations of unexplained family wealth and said he would use crowdfunding for future CJP fundraising, pledging transparency.
The party’s involvement in the NEET paper‑leak protests has drawn scrutiny, including claims of police support and accusations of political activity without registration.
The CJP’s legal standing and the ₹1 crore fund announced by MP Kapil Sibal are under investigation by authorities.
