A trainee police officer named M Uday Krishna Reddy has been accused of sexually harassing another trainee.

The other trainee filed a complaint on July 18.

Police arrested Reddy on July 29, and he stayed in judicial custody for 67 days.

On Tuesday, a court allowed him to leave custody on bail, but with conditions.

He must provide two sureties and report to police every Sunday.

Police will continue investigating, and the court process will go on.

Reddy is still suspended from the National Police Academy.

The allegations have not been decided at trial.
