India's Forex Reserves Rise for Eighth Consecutive Week
Imagine India has a giant piggy bank filled with money from other countries, called forex reserves.
This week, the amount of money in the piggy bank went up again!
It increased by almost $2 billion.
This is the eighth week in a row that the piggy bank has grown bigger.
Most of the increase came from money the country has in other currencies.
Some of the money is in the form of gold.
But the gold decreased a little bit.
The increase is a positive sign for India's economy.

Foreign currency assets, a major component, rose by $2.168 billion.
