Forest Dept Probes Torture of Monkeys at Perambalur Polytechnic

Some monkeys near a college were caught and hurt by people hired to catch them.

The people who hired these catchers are the people who run the college.

People who saw what happened complained to the forest department.

The forest department is the group that takes care of wild animals.

They are now asking questions to find out exactly what happened.

They have talked to the college principal and other officials.

A video of the monkeys being hurt was shared on social media.

Many people saw the video, and it made everyone very upset.
