Kalyani University Hosts Workshop on AI and Python in Biology
Imagine a workshop where students and teachers learned how to use computer code (Python) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to understand living things.
This workshop happened at Kalyani University from August 18th to 21st.
Experts from the university and the government taught how to use Python for analyzing data in biology, like understanding genes or finding new medicines.
It was funded by the Indian government to help people learn these skills.
The goal is to create skilled people who can work with large amounts of biological data.
That will lead to better research in areas like discovering new medicines.
Kalyani University hosted a workshop on AI and Python in Biology.
The Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility Center (BIF) organized the workshop.
The workshop took place from August 18-21.
The focus was on hands-on training in Python programming for AI in biology.
The event was funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
