Gurugram College Students Protest Poor Infrastructure After Building Collapse

Gurugram College Students Protest Poor Infrastructure After Building Collapse

Hundreds of students protested at a college in Gurugram.

They said their college building is nearly 50 years old and unsafe.

The protest happened after a building collapse in Delhi killed seven people.

Students said plaster sometimes falls from the walls.

They also said the college lacks proper drinking water and backup electricity.

A new six-story building was started in 2019 but construction stopped during the COVID pandemic.

The college official said the work will restart and finish by the end of September.

The students want safer buildings and better facilities.
