Poland Backs India’s Terror Fight, Seeks Stability Partnership

Poland’s ambassador said Poland supports India’s fight against terrorism.

He said India has the right to pursue terrorists wherever they go.

He also said Poland and India should work together because the world is unpredictable and troubled.

He suggested that the two countries could help create more stability.

Poland is interested in buying or developing defence equipment with India.

The countries also want to cooperate in agriculture and business.

The ambassador said Poland could help Indian companies reach the European Union market.

He remembered how Indian royal families sheltered Polish women and children during World War II.

About 5,000 Polish refugees lived in Valivade near Kolhapur between 1942 and 1948.

A museum is being built there to preserve that history.
