HYDRAA Reclaims Two Encroached Parks in Nizampet, Hyderabad
Imagine some beautiful parks in a neighborhood that were taken over by people who weren't supposed to.
The parks were meant for everyone to enjoy, but they were being used as private land.
The people living there were sad because they were losing their green spaces.
They told a special group called HYDRAA for help.
HYDRAA came, saw that the parks were indeed taken over, and decided to give them back to the community.
They removed all the illegal things, put up fences, and made sure everyone knew it was a park again.
The neighbors were very happy and thankful to HYDRAA for bringing their parks back to life.
HYDRAA has reclaimed two encroached parks in Nizampet Municipality, totaling approximately 2,600 square yards.
The recovered land, valued at over Rs 39 crore, includes a 2,300-square-yard park in Brindavan Colony and the 300-square-yard 'Banyan Tree Park' in Kaushalya Colony.
The action was initiated after residents filed complaints through HYDRAA Prajavani regarding the illegal occupation of these green spaces.
Encroachers had demolished play equipment, removed signage, and damaged boundary walls, claiming the land as private property.
HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath ordered the clearance, leading to the removal of illegal structures, fencing, and the installation of new park signage.
