Greek Court Strips Far-Right Lawmakers of Seats
A court in Greece made some big changes in the government.
They decided that three people who were elected to be lawmakers weren't following the rules, because they had tricked the people who voted for them.
Because of this, those three people can't be lawmakers anymore.
This means the group of people making laws in Greece has changed.
There are now fewer people in the Parliament, which means they need fewer votes to agree on new laws.
It's like taking a few players off a team; the game can still go on, but the rules might change slightly.
A Greek court removed three far-right lawmakers from Parliament.
The ruling was based on accusations of deceiving voters.
The decision stemmed from the June 2023 national vote.
Parliament will now function with 297 members instead of 300.
The majority threshold has decreased to 149 seats.
