ICSI Organizes Three-Day Joint Certificate Course on Trademarks

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India held a three-day course about trademarks.

It worked with the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks.

The course was held in Hyderabad.

Company Secretaries learned about registering and protecting trademarks.

They also studied other intellectual property procedures.

Dr. Unnat P. Pandit said these skills are becoming more important.

He encouraged Company Secretaries to support innovation and businesses.

ICSI President Pawan G Chandak said the programme would improve professional skills.

Officials said they hoped to work together on more advanced programmes in the future.
