BJP Accuses Congress of Maoist Nexus
The BJP, India's ruling party, has accused the Congress party of having ties with Maoist groups, also known as Naxalites.
They say that during the time when Congress was in power (from 2007 to 2012), the government was weak in dealing with Naxalite violence.
The BJP claims that some people who were part of an advisory council led by Sonia Gandhi, the former Congress leader, were sympathetic to Naxalite ideas.
They also say that Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Congress party, is showing support for Naxalites.
The BJP says that since Prime Minister Modi has been in power, the influence of Naxalites has decreased a lot.
Recently, a top Naxalite leader was killed, and some people protested in support of him.
The BJP is upset that Rahul Gandhi shared a video of these protests on his social media.
The Congress party has not responded to these accusations yet.
