CPI 'Chalo Delhi' campaign targets BJP government over economy, subsidies

The Communist Party of India, also called CPI, is a political party in India.

It has started a long walking campaign called a padayatra to share its message with people.

The walk began on August 6 in Kazipet and reached Hanumakonda on its fifth day.

A CPI leader named Takkalpalli Srinivasa Rao spoke to crowds during the walk.

He said the central government, led by the BJP, has made life harder for ordinary people.

He said the government broke promises about jobs, prices, and money for farmers.

He also said the government is taking away help programs and selling public companies like banks, LIC, and railways.

The CPI wants answers about money problems linked to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The march will end with a big rally called 'Badlao Zaroori Hai,' meaning change is needed, in Delhi on September 1.

The party is asking everyone to join the 'Chalo Delhi' program, which means 'let's go to Delhi.'
